PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur membered have commit to a shared responsibility towards improving the social, environmental and economic sustainability of the global natural rubber value chain.

GPSNR Ordinary Members represent the entire natural rubber value chain, from smallholder producers to natural rubber processors, tire makers and car makers, as well as civil society organizations. These form the five membership categories of the Platform and GPSNR Affiliate Members include academic institutions, associations, governments and governmental organizations, and service providers.


GPSNR Members adhere to the GPSNR Statutes and Code of Conduct, and must commit to a set of 12 principles set out in the Founding Members Statement.

In addition, GPSNR member companies are required to include a set of Policy Components, which provide more specificity to the principles, into their sustainable natural rubber production and purchasing policies and other documents.

Rubber plant comes from the Latin language named Hevea braziliensis. Rubber plants were first found in the Amazone river valleys (Brazil). When Christophel Columbus discovered the American continent in 1476, he was astonished to see locals (Indians) playing ball using a material that could bounce when dropped on the ground. The ball is made of a mixture of roots, wood, grass, and material (latex) which is then heated on fire and rounded into a ball. Long before this rubber plant was popular, natives in various places such as the United States, Asia and South Africa used other trees that also produced sap. This sap is produced from the Castillaelastica plant (family moraceae). The plant is no longer used because it is less popular than rubber plants. After the box containing the crumbs comes out of the Dryer machine, then the contents of the box dryer will be cooled to 40 degrees Celsius. This cooling is needed to avoid mold growth on the final result. The final result will be wrapped in plastic. Hot temperatures will result in condensation of air inside the plastic. This dew can trigger fungus. The product plasticizers can melt so the products will become sticky to each other. The Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) value will drop due to the heat retained in the package.
