PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur continues to strive to increase the role and competitiveness of rubber commodities by improving the quality of rubber processing materials.

PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur determines the appropriate method based on the consensus of all parties concerned with regard to safety, security, health requirements, scientific and technological developments, as well as experience, environmental preservation, present and future developments.

PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur determines a strategic plan for multi-stakeholders to form a supply chain in the framework of implementing technical guidance for growers, processing, storage and marketing.

The type of raw material recommended by PT. Bukit Angkasa Makmur produced by plantation farmers is simply processed so that it becomes another form that is more durable to be stored by doing the following things:
a) cleaning the tapping area; b) latex collection; c) latex preservation; and d) latex transportation

Type of rubber processing material
Lumps:
a) Lump bowl is garden latex which is allowed to freeze naturally. In the rainy season, to speed up the process of freezing garden latex, add formic acid/ant or liquid smoke freezer to the bowl
b) bamboo lump, this bamboo lump is almost the same as bowl lump, but aims to improve the quality of bokar at the farmer level by using a bamboo tube with the addition of formic acid/ants as a stimulant.

Slabs:
a) slab/lump (Liquid Smoke) is a slab/lump that uses a liquid smoke freezer which functions as a latex freezer, this liquid smoke can also function to prevent and cover the bad smell of clot by giving a brown smoke smell
b) thin slabs made of latex or mixed latex with bowl lump frozen with formic acid/ants in a freezer tub measuring 60 cm x 40 cm x 6 cm without grinding treatment
c) milled slab, thin slap dry rubber content can be increased to 70% by grinding using a hand mangel and the result is called slap milled.

Rubber plant comes from the Latin language named Hevea braziliensis. Rubber plants were first found in the Amazone river valleys (Brazil). When Christophel Columbus discovered the American continent in 1476, he was astonished to see locals (Indians) playing ball using a material that could bounce when dropped on the ground. The ball is made of a mixture of roots, wood, grass, and material (latex) which is then heated on fire and rounded into a ball. After the box containing the crumbs comes out of the Dryer machine, then the contents of the box dryer will be cooled to 40 degrees Celsius. This cooling is needed to avoid mold growth on the final result. The final result will be wrapped in plastic. Hot temperatures will result in condensation of air inside the plastic. This dew can trigger fungus. The product plasticizers can melt so the products will become sticky to each other. The Plasticity Retention Index (PRI) value will drop due to the heat retained in the package.
