SHREEDER AND DRYER

Before entering the drying process, the blangket will be attenuated first with a Schreder machine. The purpose of this attenuation is to obtain sufficient surface area for raw materials to contact with hot air in the Dryer machine.
The shape of the crumbs also allows the raw material to be printed in a Box Dryer (often also called a trolley), making it easier for packing.

The crumbs produced by Schreder will then go into a long tub of clean water (functioning partly washer and transport media) in front of the Schreder.
  1. From the tub, the crumbs are then transferred through a pipe with a Hydro Cyclon pump to the Box Dryer.
  2. There are 2 people who are tasked to ensure that the remnants enter the Box Dryer properly and correctly (position on the right and left side of the box dryer).
  3. A Box Dryer has a capacity of 120 Kg Dry.
  4. Weakness must enter the box in a natural way and there should be no emphasis on crumbs. This is to avoid compacting in crumbs.
  5. Solid weakness makes it difficult for hot air to touch the entire surface of the crumbs resulting in imperfect drying.
  6. The density of crumbs in the dryrer box must be adjusted so that hot air circulation can still occur between the cracks during the drying in the dryer.
  7. Drying aims to get SIR 20:10 products that are free of water content.
  8. Higher water content will reduce product resistance to decay.
  9. Water content allows the product to be overgrown by mold.
  10. Removing the water content will increase the durability of the product and be a condition that can be processed in the next process.
  11. SIR 20:10 Product itself is a semi-finished product and will be further processed into finished material products such as car tires, conveyor belts, dock fenders and so on.
